Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Management and operation of Kubernetes clusters; deployment, debugging and monitoring
- Deploy and automate infrastructure & platform services in public clouds using Infrastructure as code
- Collaborate with other technical teams to achieve well-designed, sustainable infrastructure, microservice solutions and efficient and robust production environment
- Automate tools to perform routine system administration tasks, systematically reduce manual work
- Monitor applications and services within their environments, take troubleshooting steps and implement strategies to prevent future issues.

Prerequisites and personality skills
- University degree in IT or similar
- Understanding of the DevOps philosophy
- Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native systems
- IaC management tooling like terraform and ansible
- Continuous integration and delivery preferably GitLab
- Basic knowledge of microservices, stateless services, API development and Message Brokers
- Basic knowledge of modern software architecture principles, distributed development, and modern software integration practices
- Basic experience with monitoring and service mesh are welcome
- Knowledge of at least one programming language (Golang preferred or Python, Nodejs)
- A passion for constantly learning new technologies, trends, and opportunities
- Communication skills in English
- Candidate should have a Slovak citizenship or valid EU residence permit

Our client is a technology and consultancy company servicing companies involved in the development and operation of solar power plants. They provide meteorological data, energy evaluation software and technical consultancy primarily related to evaluation and management of solar power production.
