Job description, responsibilities and duties

  • Communicate on a daily basis with business analysts and solution architects on the client side to prepare high level and low level designs for further development.
  • Work with the team to prepare effort estimates.
  • Use the latest concepts and technologies, mainly from the Azure portfolio.
  • Design innovative software solutions that meet business needs and are consistent with the company's technical vision.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies and frameworks to support software development processes.
  • Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and promote software development best practices.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks by implementing effective strategies and solutions.
  • Define and maintain software architecture documentation, including diagrams, technical specifications and system procedures.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the organisation.
  • Work on smart buildings, fleet card management and retail projects.

Prerequisites and personality skills

  • The position is suitable for candidates with a university degree in computer science.
  • English - Advanced (C1)
  • Good knowledge of programming languages and surrounding ecosystems
  • Concepts of good code and architectural quality
  • Design patterns, architectural patterns and integration patterns
  • Rest frameworks, Rest APIs
  • Event bus concepts and systems (RabbitMQ, Azure ServiceBus, etc.)
  • Cloud, serverless and container programming
  • Git and git-flow, CI/CD
  • Agile development process
  • Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
  • In addition to technical skills, you should have good communication and presentation skills in English, be independent and self-organised, and strive for continuous learning and improvement.
